Calallen High School standout Megan Gayer’s collegiate team wins game in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship on Saturday, May 10

On Saturday, May 10, former Calallen High School standout Megan Gayer’s current collegiate team the UT Tyler Patriots won 8-0 against the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Irwin Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles in the tournament.

The UT Tyler Patriots’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 15 at 4 p.m. at Irwin Field.
