On Friday, April 11, former Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial High School standouts Alyssa Burdge and Maddie Aguilar’s current college team, the St. Edward’s Hilltoppers, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Irwin Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Hilltoppers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 12 p.m. at Tom Heath Field at Lawson Plaza against Oklahoma Christian Lady Eagles.
