Former Calallen High School standout Megan Gayer played on Sunday, May 25 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Sunday, May 25, former Calallen High School standout Megan Gayer’s current collegiate team the UT Tyler Patriots won 2-0 against the Western Washington Vikings in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Jim Frost Stadium at 11 a.m. and was the second matchup against the Western Washington Vikings in the tournament.

The UT Tyler Patriots’ next game will take place on Tuesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
