On Friday, March 6, Hannah Ramsden, a former Port Aransas High School standout, and her current team, the Merchant Marine Mariners, were defeated 71-57 by the Bates Bobcats in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup, which began at 7:15 p.m. at Alumni Gymnasium, marked the Mariners’ first game of the tournament against the Bates Bobcats.
