In the week ending Mar. 7, one gas station in Nueces County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $3.10 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, diesel gas averaged $3.28 per gallon.
Nueces County had 58 of 171 reported gas stations offering diesel gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in Texas was $3.40, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
