On Friday, May 16, former Calallen High School standout Megan Gayer’s current collegiate team the UT Tyler Patriots won 5-1 against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Irwin Field at 5:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the West Texas A&M Buffaloes in the tournament.

The UT Tyler Patriots’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
