On Tuesday, April 15, former Sinton High School standouts Rene Galvan and Wyatt Wiatrek’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, lost 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Longhorns.

The game took place at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. This was their first matchup against the Longhorns this season.

The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 6 p.m. at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field against Southeastern Louisiana Lions.
