Senator Adam Hinojosa, a Republican representing Texas’ 27th Senate district since 2025, recently shared updates on local events and government activities through his social media posts.
On February 7, 2026, Hinojosa posted about his staff’s participation in a significant community event: “Yesterday, my staff had the pleasure of attending the celebration of the 173rd birthday of the City of Brownsville! I was honored to have a resolution recognizing Brownsville on this special occasion, and my staff presented it to the city on my behalf. Brownsville’s history,” he wrote.

On February 9, he provided an update regarding regional infrastructure governance: “Received an update from the Port Isabel San Benito Navigation District!
