On June 4, 2025, Senator Hinojosa expressed gratitude towards Flour Bluff ISD for their Summer Meals Program. He acknowledged the efforts of the Nutrition Team in providing free meals to those under 18 throughout the summer. “Thank you to Flour Bluff ISD for showing love to our families through the Summer Meals Program. Free breakfast and lunch for those 18 and under, all summer long. Shoutout to their amazing Nutrition Team for making this possible!”
The following day, June 5, 2025, he tweeted about returning to his district after a successful legislative session. He joined Chairman Todd Hunter at the South Texas County Judges & Commissioners Association Conference to discuss achievements for counties and emphasize the importance of strong local partnerships. “Happy to be back in the district after a successful session!
