Senator Adam Hinojosa, a Republican representing Texas’s 27th Senate district since his election in 2025, has recently highlighted several regional initiatives and discussions on social media.
On April 14, 2026, Hinojosa posted about developments in the city of Elsa: “Big things happening in Elsa. Through a strong partnership between the Elsa Economic Development Corporation and VTX1, internet access is expanding across the city, bringing more choices, stronger reliability, and for the first time, free public Wi Fi in key community spaces.”
The following day, April 15, he shared that his team attended a meeting focused on water issues in the Rio Grande Valley. He wrote: “My team attended a regional discussion on water issues in the Rio Grande Valley, where speakers highlighted the need to think regionally as we plan for the future, with a focus on securing water for agriculture, supporting economic development, and meeting the needs of our”
Later that same day, Hinojosa reported on his staff’s participation at an event regarding infrastructure and industry. According to his post: “Today, my Northern District Director and my Chief of Staff attended the Aransas Pass State of the Port in Portland, where Commissioner Wes Hoskins led a strong panel on industry and infrastructure progress. Leaders from across the region shared updates on workforce development,”
Hinojosa succeeded Morgan LaMantia after winning election to represent Texas’s 27th Senate district in 2025.
