Later that day, he expressed condolences regarding the death of a longtime law enforcement leader. In a post dated November 2, 2025, Hinojosa wrote: “I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sheriff Leroy Moody. His 55 years of dedicated service, including 30 years as sheriff of San Patricio County, reflect true commitment to our community. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served beside https://t.co/0ul55wKXYu”.
The following day, on November 3, 2025, Senator Hinojosa congratulated a local high school tennis team for their recent accomplishments. He stated: “Congratulations to the Flour Bluff Tennis Team on finishing as State Runner-Up!
