Senator Adam Hinojosa, who was elected in 2025 to represent Texas’s 27th Senate district, recently used his social media platform to comment on local achievements and community losses.

Later that day, he expressed condolences regarding the death of a longtime law enforcement leader. In a post dated November 2, 2025, Hinojosa wrote: “I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sheriff Leroy Moody. His 55 years of dedicated service, including 30 years as sheriff of San Patricio County, reflect true commitment to our community. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served beside https://t.co/0ul55wKXYu”.
The following day, on November 3, 2025, Senator Hinojosa congratulated a local high school tennis team for their recent accomplishments. He stated: “Congratulations to the Flour Bluff Tennis Team on finishing as State Runner-Up! Led by Coach Steve Bonds and Assistant Coach Jacque Bonds, the Hornets captured the regional championship, won their fourth straight district title, and ended the season with a 26-1 record! https://t.co/QQdiDYtYSY”.
Hinojosa succeeded Morgan LaMantia in representing Texas’s 27th Senate district after being elected as a Republican in 2025.
