Senator Adam Hinojosa, a Republican representing Texas’s 27th Senate district, has recently shared several updates and personal reflections on his social media account.
On December 8, 2025, Hinojosa expressed condolences to the family of former Lieutenant Governor Bill Ratliff. He wrote, “Our hearts are with the family of former Lieutenant Governor Bill Ratliff. We pray they find comfort as they remember a husband, father, and faithful public servant whose steady leadership on education and ethics left a lasting mark on Texas. May God bring peace to his loved”.
The following day, December 9, 2025, Hinojosa publicly supported his wife Victoria’s candidacy for State Board of Education District 2. In his post he stated, “I could not be more proud of my wife Victoria and her decision to run for State Board of Education District 2. As a veteran and as a mother to our 4 incredible children, 3 of whom are in public school, there is no one better to stand up for our students and the quality of their”.
On December 10, 2025, Senator Hinojosa invited constituents to read his newsletter detailing legislative accomplishments from the recent session. He posted: “Have you had a chance to read my newsletter? Here is a clear look at the important work done during the 89th Legislature, my freshman session serving as your Senator for District 27. I hope you will take a moment to review the updates and see how these achievements are already”.
Hinojosa began serving in the Texas Senate in 2025 after winning election to represent District 27, succeeding Morgan LaMantia.
