On Saturday, April 5, former Sinton High School standouts Rene Galvan and Wyatt Wiatrek’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern State Demons.

The game took place at Brown–Stroud Field. This was their second matchup against the Demons this season.

The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Brown–Stroud Field against Northwestern State Demons.
