On Sunday, May 4, former Sinton High School standouts Rene Galvan and Wyatt Wiatrek’s current college team, the UTRGV Vaqueros, won 16-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Incarnate Word Cardinals.
The game took place at Sullivan Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Cardinals this season.
The Vaqueros’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 6:30 p.m. at Baylor Ballpark against Baylor Bears.
