City of Portland issued the following announcement on Feb. 20.
Join Mrs. Dorothy for a story time and fun activity! Activities are designed to prepare children for kindergarten.
Don't forget to pick up a reading sheet to enroll your little one in the library's 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Their reading sheet is their registration form. Keep track of how much you read to your child (pre-kindergarten and younger) with the goal of reading 1000 books before they start kindergarten. Kids who finish will receive a certificate of completion along with earning extra free books at the annual Book-A-Palooza event this fall.
