Del Mar College administrator Pamela Wilder donates $125 to Elizabeth Warren's campaign

Pamela Wilder, an administrator at Del Mar College, donated $125 to Democratic Party candidate Elizabeth Warren, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $525 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with Del Mar College as of November 3. Approximately 57.1 percent, or $300, of these contributions were made to Republican Party candidates and committees.

Matthew Francis Moore's contribution of $300 to Republican Party Ted Cruz was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with Del Mar College since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
