City of Portland issued the following announcement on Nov. 12.
We are well on our way to Pack(ing) the Pantry! Thank you to all who have donated so far! The table may be full, but we have plenty of space left for more donations.
Next Friday, 11/20, the City of Portland will take all donated items to the Salvation Army’s Portland Pantry to help local families in need this holiday season. Donations are accepted at Portland City Hall, Community Center, Public Works, Fire and Police Departments. These facilities are open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
