City of Sinton issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
TDEM uses a rolling 14-day calendar. San Patricio County has received 192 new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days.
If the County is exempted from GA-29 but later exceeds the 20 new cases during a 14-day period, then the County would be required to comply with all aspects of GA-29. If after a 30 waiting period, the County once again has had fewer than 20 new COVI-19 cases , Judge Krebs can reapply for the exemption.
