CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi will provide residents with information regarding Proposition A, an item on the November 7 Special Election ballot. The public information Town Hall will take place on Wednesday, October 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The Town Hall can be viewed on the following City social media channels:

Facebook: @citygov or YouTube: CCTVCorpusChristi.

During the Town Hall, Assistant City Manager Heather Hurlbert will join Rob Hunden, President of Hunden Strategic Partners, as he shares his expertise while addressing frequently asked questions about Proposition A.

The community is encouraged to submit any Proposition A-related questions before or during the event by emailing our support team at propa@cctexas.com.

Proposition A proposes the reallocation of existing sales taxes with no new taxes to prioritize the continued maintenance and integrity of the Seawall, improvements to regional parks throughout the City, increased funding to fix commercial, industrial, arterial, and collector streets, recruitment of new direct flights resulting in lower airfare, and the needed maintenance, repairs, and renovations to the Selena Auditorium, Arena, and Convention Center.

For comprehensive details on Proposition A and the City's dedicated efforts to educate residents, please visit the City's official website at www.cctexas.com or email PropA@cctexas.com for any additional questions.

For media inquiries, contact Public Information Manager Robert Gonzales at 361-826-3233 or robertg8@cctexas.com
