75.4% of Nueces County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 353,594 citizens living in Nueces County in 2021, 75.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 266,480 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 130,874 were male, constituting 49.1%, and 135,606 were female, making up 50.9%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Nueces County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
