There were 2,023 students enrolled in Ingleside ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 1.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 51.6% of them were boys, and 48.4% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 53.4% of the Ingleside ISD total enrollment.

Ingleside ISD roughly covers schools within San Patricio County with its main office in Ingleside.

Among the four schools in Ingleside ISD, Ingleside High School recorded the highest enrollment of 633 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
