San Diego ISD schools Education: 23 white students were enrolled in schools in 2022-23 school year

There were 23 white students enrolled in San Diego ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 9.5% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that San Diego ISD schools welcomed 1,495 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 1.5% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

San Diego ISD roughly covers schools within Duval County and has a main office in San Diego.

Among the three schools in San Diego ISD schools, Collins-Parr Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 14 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
