Congressman Michael Cloud, who has represented Texas's 27th District since 2018, shared a series of tweets discussing pressing issues and collaborations in his political career. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1975, Cloud has served in Congress following the tenure of Blake Farenthold.

On January 21, 2025, Congressman Cloud emphasized the significance of border security for his district. He stated that "Border, Border, Border — those are the top three issues in my district. We have got to secure the border and President Trump, soon to be DHS Sec Kristi Noem, and Tom Homan understand that."

Later on the same day, he expressed enthusiasm about working with Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene on governmental efficiency. Cloud noted: "Excited to be working with @RepMTG on the @GOPoversight DOGE Subcommittee. Making government more efficient has been a passion of mine and we have a once in a generation chance to get it done here. Let's go!!"

On January 22, 2025, Congressman Cloud tweeted a simple message of gratitude: "Thank you, Congressman!"
