Congressman Michael Cloud, representing Texas' 27th district since 2018, recently shared a series of tweets addressing various issues. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and a graduate of Oral Roberts University, Cloud has been active in U.S. Congress following his replacement of Blake Farenthold.

Later that day, he criticized judicial actions with another tweet: "This is nothing but a judge using partisan, leftist talking points to give Swamp bureaucrats time to cover their tracks."
In a subsequent post on the same day, Congressman Cloud discussed his initiative DOGE (Defenders of Government Efficiency), saying "With DOGE, our goal is to shine a light on the corruption and dysfunction in government and ensure that Washington works for We the People.
