Congressman Michael Cloud, representing Texas’ 27th district, has recently shared several updates on social media regarding the impact of President Trump's administration. Cloud, who has been serving in Congress since 2018, replaced Blake Farenthold and resides in Victoria, Texas. He frequently uses his platform to communicate political developments and achievements.

On February 20, 2025, Congressman Cloud highlighted a significant change in border security statistics under the Trump administration. He noted that "Before January 20th, daily border apprehensions hit as high as 11,000 under the last administration." Since President Trump took office on January 20th, he stated that this number has significantly decreased to as low as 229.

On February 21, 2025, Congressman Cloud provided an overview of what he described as accomplishments of President Trump's first month in office. According to his tweet, "In just one month, President Trump’s administration has already delivered on the America-First agenda and more:" He cited $55 billion in estimated savings from DOGE, a 93% drop in migrant apprehensions at ports of entry, and nearly $600 billion in new investments secured.
