Of all the students enrolled in the 2024-25 school year, 50.1% of the students were girls, and 49.9% were boys.
Data also showed that Hispanic students made up 98.5% of the student body, the largest share of enrollment in Collins-Parr Elementary School, followed by white students at 1.2%, and Asian students at 0.3%.
Among the nine schools in Duval County, San Diego High School ranked second in enrollment with 446 students, while Norman M. Thomas Elementary School welcomed 361 students and ranked third in the 2024-25 school year.
Collins-Parr Elementary School is part of San Diego ISD, which roughly covers schools within Duval County with its main office in San Diego.
In the previous school year, Collins-Parr Elementary School also had the highest number of students among Duval County schools.
Texas has the nation’s second-largest K-12 public school system, serving about 5.5 million students with a student-to-teacher ratio of roughly 15:1.
