Congressman Michael Cloud, representing Texas' 27th district, recently took to social media to address issues related to the U.S. Postal Service and taxpayer money. Serving in Congress since 2018, Cloud has been vocal about government transparency and fiscal responsibility.

On March 10, 2025, Congressman Cloud shared a post highlighting his concerns regarding the allocation of funds by the Postal Service. He stated, "Three years later, taxpayers are still waiting while the Postal Service refuses to provide basic transparency on where this EV money went."

Later that day, he provided further details on the situation by sharing a news article link with his followers. In his tweet at 19:24:27 UTC, he wrote ":" followed by a link to an external source for more information.

In another tweet posted at the same time, Congressman Cloud announced legislative action aimed at addressing these financial concerns. He stated that "The Return to Sender Act returns the $3 billion in taxpayer money that has been wasted on this project." The act is intended to reclaim funds spent without adequate transparency from the Postal Service.
