The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Kingsville conferred 350 master's degrees and 230 bachelor's degrees in engineering programs.
But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general computer and information sciences. Data shows the school gave out 229 master's degrees in general computer and information sciences, followed by 146 master's degrees in electrical and electronics engineering and 98 bachelor's degrees in "other" multi-/interdisciplinary studies.
The university enrolled 8,541 students for 2017-18, including 6,976 in undergraduate programs and 1,565 in graduate programs.
