There were 495 students enrolled in Seashore Charter Schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.9% of them were girls, and 48.1% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 75.6% of the Seashore Charter Schools total enrollment.

Seashore Charter Schools roughly covers schools within Nueces County with its main office in Corpus Christi.

Among the two schools in Seashore Charter Schools, Seashore Learning Center recorded the highest enrollment of 275 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
