There were 2,480 students enrolled in Robstown ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 4.7% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.1% of them were boys, and 49.9% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 97.2% of the Robstown ISD total enrollment.

Robstown ISD roughly covers schools within Nueces County with its main office in Robstown.

Among the six schools in Robstown ISD, Robstown Early College High School recorded the highest enrollment of 718 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
