There were 3,750 students enrolled in Tuloso-Midway ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 2.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.9% of them were boys, and 49.1% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 82% of the Tuloso-Midway ISD total enrollment.

Tuloso-Midway ISD roughly covers schools within Nueces County with its main office in Corpus Christi.

Among the six schools in Tuloso-Midway ISD, Tuloso-Midway High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,065 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
