There were 5,546 students enrolled in Flour Bluff ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, a slight decrease from the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 51.7% of them were boys, and 48.3% were girls.

The most represented ethnicity among Flour Bluff ISD students was Hispanic, accounting for 47.7% of the student population.

Flour Bluff ISD roughly covers schools within Nueces County with its main office in Corpus Christi.

Among the seven schools in Flour Bluff ISD, Flour Bluff High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,879 students in the 2021-22 school year.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
