How many students were enrolled in Odem-Edroy ISD schools in 2021-22 school year?

There were 839 students enrolled in Odem-Edroy ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 0.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.7% of them were boys, and 49.3% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 84.6% of the Odem-Edroy ISD total enrollment.

Odem-Edroy ISD roughly covers schools within San Patricio County with its main office in Odem.

Among the four schools in Odem-Edroy ISD, Odem High School recorded the highest enrollment of 283 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
