252 gifted and talented students were taught in Kleberg County schools in the 2022-23 school year

Test 13

Kleberg County schools enrolled 252 students who were identified as being gifted and talented during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

This is a 5.4% increase over the previous school year.

Of the 4,650 students enrolled in Kleberg County schools, 5.4% of them were considered to be gifted and talented.

Kleberg County enrolled the 104th highest number of gifted and talented students among Texas counties.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
