There were 464 students enrolled in Seashore Charter Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 6.3% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53% of them were girls, and 47% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 76.3% of the Seashore Charter Schools total enrollment.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
