Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 1.9% of Robstown ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 49 white students enrolled in Robstown ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.8% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Robstown ISD schools welcomed 2,543 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 1.9% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Robstown ISD roughly covers schools within Nueces County and has a main office in Robstown.

Among the six schools in Robstown ISD schools, Robert Driscoll Junior Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 19 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
