There were 297 multiracial students enrolled in Flour Bluff ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 0.7% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Flour Bluff ISD schools welcomed 5,732 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 5.2% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Flour Bluff ISD roughly covers schools within Nueces County and has a main office in Corpus Christi.

Among the seven schools in Flour Bluff ISD schools, Flour Bluff High School recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 100 students.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
