Enrollment Analysis: white students comprised 16.3% of Sinton ISD schools' student body in 2022-23 school year

There were 337 white students enrolled in Sinton ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.1% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Sinton ISD schools welcomed 2,071 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, white students comprised 16.3% of the student body to be one of the most represented ethnicities in the district.

Sinton ISD roughly covers schools within San Patricio County and has a main office in Sinton.

Among the five schools in Sinton ISD schools, Sinton High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 114 students.

Texas is found to be one of the least-educated states in the U.S. A study from WalletHub ranked Texas 41st out of 50 states in terms of the quality of the educational system and how successful students were.

More than 5.4 million students are enrolled in public schools across Texas. Nearly one million of them live in rural areas where options for local public schools are few and far between.
